Taking control of GHS

esl.pngENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE LTD (ESL) says many in industry find there are two major issues facing them when dealing with safety in the workplace. Firstly, it is a well-known fact that many find the information on a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) “too technical” to understand. In addition, many are still trying to get to grips with the changes brought about by the introduction of the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) Regulation.

ESL says it has addressed these issues by updating its software called “GHS WASPS” (Workplace Action Safety Protection Sheet) which enables users to easily produce a workplace safety hazard sheet from a complex GHS SDS. The WASP Sheet is a one-page graphical representation of hazards in the workplace.
