UK field buying division launched
Published:  16 May, 2023

Radwell International has announced it has launched a new UK field buying division headed by Andrew Duke and Daniel Jones.

A leading global supplier of surplus and remanufactured industrial control systems, Radwell International operates in the UK from three sites, with premises in Blackburn, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Tamworth.

With over 2,000 employees across fifteen locations worldwide, the company is an authorised distributor for over 350 new components and parts brands and also specialises in hard-to-source parts for the provision of refurbished industrial automation components for the repair and maintenance of equipment on plant floors and other end markets globally.

The new UK field buying division, headed by Duke and Jones, will be dedicated to sourcing used stock directly, with the pair conducting outbound site visits to assess value and provide purchase and removal offers.

On launching the new division, Duke said: “Disposing of old kit can be seen as a headache by many in terms of both time and expense.

“We not only take that pain away, we offer cash in return. We buy surplus automated parts from all over the UK, Ireland and Europe, visiting new and existing vendors at their own facilities.

“By visiting sellers onsite, we aim to make the process as simple, hassle free and profitable as possible for anyone with used automation equipment and components they are looking to responsibly dispose of.

“The ability for companies to sell their end-of-life or end-of-use parts not only provides financial returns that might otherwise be wasted, it also helps companies meet their commitment to sustainability, maximising the lifecycle of industrial equipment in use across the global economy.”
