Safety experts representing the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) will be available to answer questions at the Safety and Health Expo (June 18-20).
RoSPA is an official show partner at the Expo, and this year is delivering a host of topical presentations, discussions and talks across three days, on subjects including training, driver behaviour, Managing Occupational Road Risk (MORR), and organisational sustainability.
On Wednesday June 19, fleet safety adviser, John Greenhough, will be presenting on Management of Occupational Road Risk (MORR) at 2.40pm in the Operational Excellence Theatre. MORR courses have been helping organisations manage their financial and moral duty of care on the road since its creation by RoSPA more than two decades ago. John will be focusing his presentation on the new and improved RoSPA road map of MORR that enables organisations of all sizes to access its benefits.
Holly Price, training and development director at RoSPA Award-winning engineering firm Keltbray, will talk about how employers can reduce the risk of accidents by managing stress in the workplace on Thursday, June 20.
Senior SHEQ advisor at Dyer and Butler, Geoff Fox, will also deliver a presentation that day entitled ‘Maintaining a strong safety culture in a challenging environment’.
Karen McDonnell, occupational health and safety adviser at RoSPA, who will be speaking at the Expo and chairing a panel discussion about investigating accidents, said: “I know I speak on behalf of my RoSPA colleagues when I say we are looking forward to attending the Safety and Health Expo. Every year, this event facilitates networking for likeminded safety and compliance professionals.
“Members of the RoSPA team, who are experts in their fields, will be at our stand ready to answer any questions you may have about RoSPA training, awards and membership, or to give guidance about best practice for health and safety in your sector. One-on-one sessions with our experts in road, leisure and occupational safety will also be available.”
This year, RoSPA will be on stand SH3220. Visitors to the stand will be entered into our free prize draw for a chance to win £1,000 towards any RoSPA occupational health and safety training course, and can also receive exclusive discounts on RoSPA membership and training.
