Elfab says it is the first rupture disc manufacturer to offer a WirelessHART burst detection system significantly enhancing its product range and says since the launch of the wireless burst detection system, it has changed the way in which its customers consider rupture disc monitoring.

Traditional burst detection solutions can involve large investment combined with ongoing maintenance cost. In upgrading rupture disc monitoring to wireless, customers can expect to eliminate 50% of the cost and 90% of the time required to install. Thomas Swan based in Consett is a major independent manufacturer of performance and speciality chemicals and says it has recently benefited from incorporating this wireless solution for all Elfab rupture disc devices.
