Q8_Oils.jpgQ8Oils says it will be promoting its recently-launched products and service-led initiatives at Southern Manufacturing 2016, Farnborough, 9-11 February 2016, on stand T134.

Q8Oils says its revolutionary Q8 Brunel water-soluble machining and grinding fluid now offers ten grades developed to out-perform all other fluids. Suitable for use in hard or soft water, with ultra-low-foaming properties, they are said to be ideal for high-speed machining applications and the demanding fluid delivery pressures found on modern machine tools. The range is also designed to be fully-compliant with the latest European legislation.

Also on show will be Q8 Berlioz, a range of soluble cutting and grinding fluids developed to be tolerant to hard and soft water and free of formaldehyde, chlorine and secondary amines. All six grades have been formulated for the light- to heavy-duty machining of numerous ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys on CNC machines, machining centres, flexible manufacturing systems and all centralised systems.

With Q8Oils so confident in its new grades and existing portfolio, the company says it will continue to promote ‘The Challenge’, which offers machinists the opportunity to trial Q8 solutions on a payment-by-results basis.

Another service-led initiative being promoted is QCare, a network-enabled, tablet-based system with a bespoke ‘app’ that enables Q8Oils field service technicians to monitor fluids, complete audits and deliver results while still on site.
