LOCTITE 8009, the metal-free Anti-Seize from HENKEL, is said to be the perfect toolbox product because it is truly universal in its application. The company says it is compatible with stainless steel and titanium and also provides excellent chemical and temperature resistance for reliable, long term lubrication of slow moving components, and now it is also available in a handy screw-capped can with an integral brush.
Henkel reports it entered the anti-seize market when it bought the company that developed the first copper-based product. Indeed it still manufactures anti-seize that uses copper or aluminium to provide lubrication at high temperatures. However, in line with its continuous development policy, Henkel says it has now also perfected several complementary products. LOCTITE 8009 is one of them and is said to offer distinct benefits for the maintenance engineer.
