Expanded product range

Cofely says the 11 year deal will also see it leasing the SVT power station and delivering a programme of major maintenance and investment works on the existing energy plant.

Demand based control

Emergency oxidation application

The Emergency Deployment Oxidation System (EDOS) is designed for quick deployment into contaminated rivers, lakes and canals to remedy critical water oxidation levels. Maintaining water oxygenation after contamination events is usually critical, if wildlife in the water and the surrounding environment is to be protected. The system is also said to be suitable for deployment into waste water treatment plants where a serious equipment failure has occurred.

Steam pressure reduction

Steam generators

CERTUSS says all its steam generators are type tested according to European Pressure Equipment Guideline DGRL 97/23/EG. Certuss offers seven construction groups within its range of fossil fuel generators with outputs ranging from 80kg/hr to 2000kg/hr and operating pressures of up to 32 Bar G. To accompany the generator, CERTUSS also offers its CVE Package Plant Module, where all of the associated ancillary items are pre-piped, pre-wired and factory tested.

Branch circuit monitoring system

Low voltage energy specialist, SOCOMEC, has launched the latest addition to the DIRIS A range of multi-function meters – the DIRIS Branch Circuit Monitoring System (BCMS) 720 system. The DIRIS BCMS 720 can simultaneously monitor up to 72 branch circuits. Furthermore, 10 additional circuits (mains incomers) can also be monitored – all within a single device to optimise space usage.

The Crown Estate has appointed Midlands-based LORIEN ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS to design and project manage a proposed woodchip boiler and district heating system, to be installed at Windsor Great Park.

Mobile membrane degasser

VEOLIA WATER SOLUTIONS & TECHNOLOGIES has unveiled the latest addition to its Aquamove fleet of mobile water treatment solutions. REMOX is a membrane degasser which removes carbon dioxide and oxygen from water. Reported to be the first membrane degasser available on the rental market, REMOX is housed in a fully air-conditioned standard 40ft container complete with all necessary compressed air, nitrogen and vacuum equipment. With two streams of membrane modules, REMOX can treat up to 100m3/h of water to less than 0.3mg/l dissolved carbon dioxide and up to 75m3/h to less than 0.01mg/l dissolved oxygen.
