4G-enabled I/O communication modules

Introducing GSM-PRO2 and GSM-PRO2E communication modules, CONTA-CLIP has announced economic 4G wireless remote control and maintenance solutions for decentralised applications. If no 4G network is available, the modules automatically fall back on 3G or 2G networks.

Wireless vibration sensors

SPM INSTRUMENT AB, a leading worldwide provider of condition monitoring technology and products, has announced the release of AiriusTM, a range of wireless vibration sensors for remote monitoring of industrial equipment. The company says providing warning of vibration-related problems as well as gear and bearing faults, Airius is a wireless, battery-powered sensor ideal for remote condition monitoring of standard production equipment such as pumps and fans.

Long term corrosion prevention

The old Central Bank Building in Dame Street, Dublin, is currently being redeveloped and WINN & COALES (DENSO) has announced it is supplying corrosion prevention coatings for major structural sections and also an outer wrap prior to fire protection.

Seals deliver long life

Based on a proprietary and patented crosslinking system that has been developed specifically for the chemical processing industry, DuPont Kalrez Spectrum 7275 seals are reported to exhibit minimal swelling and improved retention of physical properties when exposed to aggressive chemicals such as concentrated nitric acid, organosilanes, chlorosilanes, pure ethylene oxide, butyraldehyde, amines, vinyl monomers and acrylic monomers. Kalrez 7275 seals are available in the UK from authorised distributor DICHTOMATIK.

Revamped industrial thermal imager line

Customisation of cabling ducts

CONTA-CLIP says it provides all necessary tools for customising its UL- and VDE-certified VK series cabling ducts. The company says the VK-S cutter allows for shortening up to 125 mm wide standard or halogen-free cabling ducts to the required length. Cuts are clean, without burrs, and with the exact required angle.

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies reports it has unveiled a series of newly developed clamp seals that ensure rapid and extremely secure tube connections in food and beverage production machines that are required to operate on a continuous basis.

CONTA-CLIP has announced it now offers a combination of a hydraulic hand pump and sheet-metal punching tool and says users can thereby produce break-outs in control cabinets for KDSClick, KDS-FB, KDS-KV, and KES cable entries within a few minutes.

A Monitran-designed 32 channel condition monitoring system will be the star of the company's stand at Maintenance Bilbao this June. The MTN/5032 can monitor velocity, envelope g and temperature across all channels.

New factory service centre

MAKITA UK has opened a third regional Factory Service Centre (FSC) in the London borough of Hounslow. Continuous thermal imaging

Steel breakouts can be catastrophic process failures that are both extremely dangerous and costly.
