New sensor detects oil vapour
Published:  04 November, 2014

red_dreagon_CS_120.jpgAvoiding process contamination and maintaining compliance with air quality standards in the food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor sectors has reportedly now been made easier.

The new CS 120 residual oil sensor manufactured by CS-iTEC GmbH and available from RED DRAGON LTD, can identify residual oil content in compressed air down to 0.001mg/m³ in accordance with ISO 8573-1 Class 1. The output choices of 4-20mA, RS485/Modbus/RTU and relay contacts allow simple interfacing with control systems, displays or data loggers and LEDs indicate if the filter or sensor needs servicing. The company says for ease of use, pre-calibrated exchange sensors are available to enable simple replacement by the user and eliminate the need to send the unit away for service and calibration. Dew point sensors, particle counters, displays and data loggers are also available in the CS-iTEC range in order to provide a complete monitoring solution for air quality compliance to ISO 8573-1.
