€15m refurbishment

Following successful contract negotiations with Elektroprivreda Srbije (Electric Power Industry of Serbia), Doosan Babcock has won the contract for the major boiler refurbishment of Nikola Tesla Unit A4, Serbia. This follows Doosan Babcock's previous experience at Nikola Tesla, with the successful rehabilitation of Unit A5 in 2004 and Unit B1 in 2005. The refurbishment of A4, valued at €15m, will involve the replacement of approximately 1500 tonnes of pressure parts amounting to some 60,000 site welds.
